Online Integrator
The best online integrator for indefinite integrals is, without doubt, the one by Wolfram. Type in a function of x, and if it can find the antiderivative, it will. If you’re looking for definite integrals, however, it has a few disadvantages, and you really need an online integrator for definite integrals.
- You have to substitute the bounds of your integral into the integrator.
This is extra work, at best, or extremely messy, or might even involve complex numbers, or functions you’ve never met before! Just try one of these, and you’ll see what I mean…
Even worse, sometimes there’s just no formula at all for the antiderivative. Then, with Wolfram’s online integrator, you’re stuck. Try this one!
The online integrator on this site has no trouble with any of these. It uses a recursive adaptive numerical technique to quickly integrate even complicated formulae. If you want to try it out, hop over to the online integrator applet page now. You’ll need to have java installed in your browser.
